Slide/Negative Scanning

We can transfer your old 35mm slides or negatives to image files that can be viewed or printed on your computer.  Files are stored on CD or data DVD.

Pricing is based on standard 35mm slides and negatives, negative pricing is price per image when the entire strip (4 to 6 images per strip) is scanned.   Add $0.30 per image when only select frames are scanned.  Add $0.60 per image if negatives are cut into individual frames.

Slides or negatives scanned at 1,000 ppi will provide excellent images on your computer or TV screen.  2,000 ppi scans will provided quality prints up to 5"x7".   3,000 ppi scans will provided quality prints up 8"x12".  4,000ppi is suggested for anything larger than 8"x12" or if you plan on doing a lot of cropping.

All Slide and Negative Scans have the following included for no additional fee:

-     DigitalICE (TM Kodak) dust and scratch removal (does not apply to B&W).

-     Rotated to the correct orientation.

-     Individually cropped to the edge to eliminate black border.

-     Grain reduction.

-     Color correction.

-     No Media Fees for images stored as JPGs

-     High Resolution scans (3000ppi and higher) include a copy of the images at a lower resolution for quicker viewing.

We can save your files in high quality JPG or TIF format.  If you choose JPG there are no additional media fees for your first set of disks.  If you choose TIF, media fees apply, they are $4 for a CD and $6 for a DVD.  See the following chart to determine how many digital photos will fit on a CD or DVD.

We can scan also scan 110 and 126 slides in standard mounts for the same price as 35mm.  We do recommend that 110 film be scanned at one of the higher resolutions since the orginal film is so small. 

Super Slides, also called 127 film, can be scanned two different ways.  Since Super Slides have the same size mount as 35mm they can be scanned in "35mm format" which scans just the middle of the image, cutting off the top and bottom.  If you choose this method the cost is the same as standard 35mm.  The other method of scanning actualy scans the entire frame of the slide and requires the slide to be handled in our medium format scanners.  The price for "full frame" Super Slide scans is double the price of standard 35mm scans.

Photo Restoration

Photo restoration is priced at $9.95 to $39.95 depending on the size and condition of the photo.  This includes high resolution scanning from slide, negative, or print, dust/scratch removal, color restoration, grain reduction, and manual repairing of photo due to rips, tears folds, or just age.  A high resolution .JPG or .TIF file will be provided of the image.  Prints can be provided if desired per pricing listed under photo print pricing.

DVD Slideshow

We can make a DVD slideshow.  Your photos will display on your TV screen while your favorite music plays in the background.  Perfect for weddings, graduations, anniversaries, reunions, funerals, etc.

We have two options for slide shows, Basic and Deluxe.

Our Basic DVD Slide Show is $19.95 for the first 100 photos, each additional photo is $0.10 each.  The basic slide show includes basic fade transitions and we can include music if you wish from our classical royalty free selections.  The basic slide show comes in a standard DVD case with a basic label.

Our Deluxe DVD Slideshow is $29.95 for the first 100 photos, each additional photo is $0.20 each.  The deluxe slide show includes custom transitions, and panning and zoom effects to bring the slide show to life.   This package includes one song that you provide.  We can add additional songs you provide at $3.00 each.  If you do not have the songs, we can purchase them on your behalf for $5.00 each and add them to your DVD.  The Deluxe DVD Slide Show comes with a custom disk label and cover with the photos of your choice shown on the label and cover.

Photos for the DVD slide shows must be provided in digital format or we can convert them based on the pricing above. 

Custom Disk Label and Cover

A custom disk label can be added to any CD or DVD.  We will take the photos you want or choose photos at random from the ones we scan or add to a slide show and put them on the front of the disk and on a custom sleeve for the case.  The price for this is $6.95 for the first disk and $3.95 for each additional disk with the same design. (The costom disk label and cover is included in the Deluxe Slide Show)

Photo Print Service

If you would like us to print your digital photos for you, we can based on the pricing below.

Photo Index / Proof Sheets

We can put your scanned images into a Photo Index Book or Proof Sheets with 12 or 30 images per page and the file name under each photo.  Contact us for more information.

Additional CD's or DVD's

Additional copies of CD's or DVD's for any of the above services are available for

$4 for a CD

$6 for a DVD

All basic CD's and DVD's are printed with a text label and placed in a paper CD/DVD envelope.

Custom graphic CD/DVD labels can be added to the CD/DVD for $6.95 for the initial design and label.  Same design added to other CD/DVD's is $3.95.  All custom graphic CD/DVD's include a matching premium DVD trim case.
